We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Leader to drive the design, implementation, and scalability of our infrastructure in a cutting-edge cybersecurity environment. In this role, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers, take full ownership of the company’s infrastructure while shaping our cloud architecture, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system reliability and security. You will report to the VP R&D and join the R&D leadership team to impact the R&D strategy, processes and vision.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Security, CS, and Product teams, aligning DevOps strategies with business and technical goals
- Cloud Infrastructure Management – Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Container Orchestration – Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- CI/CD Pipelines – Develop and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines to improve software delivery efficiency and reliability
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Monitoring & Logging – Implement and manage observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance
- Security & Compliance – Enforce security best practices, monitor vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Performance Optimization – Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting – Monitor infrastructure, diagnose issues, and lead resolution efforts to maintain high availability and resilience
- Collaboration & Leadership – Work closely with software engineers, security teams, and product managers to align DevOps strategies with business objectives, while mentoring junior DevOps engineers
- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Stay up to date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies, continuously improving our infrastructure and deployment processes
Requirements
What You’ll bring with you:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Proven experience with AWS – deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and cost optimization
- Strong system architecture skills – ability to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructures
- Networking & Security expertise – hands-on experience with connectivity, load balancing, DNS, firewall rules, and cloud networking configurations
- Experience in building and optimizing real-time data ingestion pipelines for handling large-scale data processing
- Proficiency in Serverless architectures – hands-on experience with AWS Lambda or equivalent serverless frameworks
- Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Monitoring & alerting proficiency – experience with observability tools such as Coralogix, DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus, or equivalent
- Expertise in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – hands-on experience with Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions (or similar tools)
- Experience with messaging and logging systems – RabbitMQ, Kafka, ELK stack
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and eager to learn new technologies
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Team player – capable of working closely with R&D, Product, Security, and Support teams
Nice to have but not a must:
- Background in cybersecurity, preferably an experience with EDR systems
- A start-up working experience, preferably in early stages
- Development experience with Node.js / NestJS framework – an advantage
