In this role, you would test and build the automation infrastructure to verify the quality, integrity, security, and scalability of the next-generation security platform.  You will be responsible for working on our real-time high-availability backend infrastructure.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our cutting-edge product 
  • Identify, document, and prioritize software bugs, usability issues, and performance problems 
  • Work closely with the customer support teams to investigate customer-reported issues by replicating scenarios and prioritizing them for the R&D teams 
  • Work closely with the support, development, and product teams to escalate and resolve issues effectively 
  • Develop and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and plans for new features and updates 
  • Validate fixes and enhancements, ensuring they meet quality standards before release 
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving testing processes to increase efficiency and accuracy 
  • Provide clear and actionable feedback to developers and product owners based on test findings 

What You’ll bring with you:

  • 4+ years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably in the cybersecurity field  
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issues 
  • Experience in testing web applications, APIs, and backend systems 
  • Familiarity with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management platforms 
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and escalate issues 
  • Experience in replicating and analyzing customer environments 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results 

Nice to have but not a must:

  • A start-up working experience, preferably in early stages 
  • Proven experience with facing customer issues  
  • Familiarity with scripting or basic programming for creating simple tools or utilities 
  • B.Sc. Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent knowledge
